‘No, you can’t kill my country’: Germany to withdraw from UN Security Council

The German government has said it will withdraw from the United Nations’ Security Council, days after the United States called for it to do so.

German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel said on Sunday the decision was not a “political decision”.

“The Security Council is an organisation for international law, but it is not an organisation that can decide who gets to rule,” he told a news conference in Berlin.

“The United States does not understand this,” he said.

“This decision is not about US interests, but about German interests.”

I am absolutely sure that if we have a different attitude we would have no trouble getting to the Security Council.

“This decision will be a very, very big step,” he added.

“But it is important to remember that it is a decision made by the United Kingdom, not by the Security Service (the German government’s domestic spy agency).”‘

Political decision’Germany, which holds the rotating presidency of the UN Security Forum, will also withdraw from its role as the only permanent member of the council.

On Monday, the US ambassador to the UN, Samantha Power, said that the US had “strong reservations” about the Security Assembly’s decision to pull out of the Security Conference on International Relations (SCORUS), the body responsible for setting the agenda for the world’s 193-nation body.

“In the Security-Council process, there has been an increasing number of ‘political decisions’ by the US,” Power said in a statement on Monday.

“These are not about the security interests of the United Sates, but are in keeping with a broader policy of isolation and isolationism that has been pursued by the Trump administration.”

It is time for the US to withdraw,” she said.

In a separate statement, US Ambassador to the United Nation Samantha Power said the US was “disappointed” by the vote by the UNSC to withdraw.”

Israel’s veto is a violation of the international law and will not be tolerated.””

We are disappointed that Israel’s vetoes of this resolution were not included in the final version of the text.”

Israel’s veto is a violation of the international law and will not be tolerated.

“Power said the United State had been seeking to establish a new permanent seat on the Security Security Council since the United states voted to leave the council in 2017.
